Make the Good Things Last

Everyplace holds something unique to be proud of. For some towns and cities, it is their tourist attractions. To others, it is the extreme activities they offer. While there are those municipalities that are very proud of their rich culture and heritage, there are those who boast their local cuisine and other food products. In St. Louis, Missouri, it is not the food but the drinks that invite the tourists to come again and again. This drink is under the Anheuser-Busch brewing company.

If you are familiar with this company, then you would know and recognize it from the label alone of its drinks. Many of its beers are wrapped in red and blue labels, this is indeed an American original. There is no doubt about it and no one would think otherwise. For several years already, this brand of drink has been the company of many people, especially at night time. Whether they want to alleviate their loneliness or just relax under the stars after a long day at work, This beer serves it’s purpose to them. This is why it is not anymore surprising that there are people who already developed a good relationship with this beer. Anheuser-Busch Companies LLC brings about many types of drinks to its customers. There are different types of Bud/Budweiser which flavor ranges from light, flavored, dry, and original. There is the Johnny Appleseed which is a cider, and different types of Michelob as well, Busch, and Rolling Rock. This is just some of the brands it markets.

Due to the variety of brands this brewing brand offer to the market, one would have an idea that this company is big. Well, this is not just big but massive. It is a subsidiary of the Anheuser-Busch InBev (AB InBev) which was originally formed due to the merging of 3 international brewing company. It was said that this company even employs several 10 thousands employees in its 12 breweries around the United States. But now, it is in the danger of getting lost to the foreign investors if we do not stop and start fighting today.

What is the implication of this foreign invasion of A-B? Simple. Uncertainty for the brands we already learned to love and develop a taste for over the years. Possibly displaced workers who have spent their lives working for this company. They would come back to their garage doors in Henderson and would lose the self-esteem they have after working for the company and to the whole United States. This is like foreign invasion again but this time, it targets our business and our economy.
